Best in Business 2004 Awards

Ludim Garcia, Business Associate in the Political Science Department, and Glenda Elledge, Academic Business Administrator II in the Computer Science Department, are the 2004 recipients of the "Best In Business Awards" given at the spring Council of Senior Business Administrators (CSBA) workshop. The awards, which include a check for $500 and an engraved plaque, were established in 1999 by CSBA to recognize and reward superior service by Texas A&M support staff members in business-related positions. Ms. Garcia is praised as being a "most critical part of the organization." Ms. Elledge is described as being "an outstanding business administrator who has given immensely of herself." Funding made possible by the generous support of the deans and senior administrators of Texas A&M University provides for the awards each spring to an exempt and non-exempt staff member.
