Training Resources

  • Division of Finance Training - Various on-line and classroom training course to include training on FAMIS, CANOPY, Travel/Concur, Property, and AggieBuy
  • Employee & Organizational Development Training - EOD offers a wide variety of workshops designed to assist employees reach their professional development goals. Topic areas include leadership development, personnel management, computer/technology skills, diversity, employment law, and new employee orientation.
  • Environmental Health and Safety Training - The Environmental Health and Safety Department regularly offers training on a variety of topics that include Fire Extinguisher, Hazard Communication, Laboratory Safety, and Radiation Safety. Several other training courses are available, please refer to the EHSD Web site.
  • LeaveTraq Training - LeaveTraq is the Texas A&M University System's online leave program that allows you to check your leave balances, request leave or just track the status of any of your outstanding leave request.
  • Payroll and Budget Training - These courses are designed for both new and experienced business staff. Courses include introductory courses as well as hands-on coaching session.
  • Project Management Training - The Project Management Office provides project management courses to Texas A&M University System employees. By completing the program, employees may earn a Texas A&M Project Management Certificate. The program is Project Management Institute (PMI) compliant.
  • Scholarships & Financial Aid - In order to provide students, student employees and employment supervisors with skills for improving effectiveness, efficiency and quality of life, Scholarships & Financial Aid currently offers many workshops.
  • Single Sign On Training for Departmental Administrators - The Single Sign On (SSO) system is The Texas A&M University System’s one point of entry for HRConnect, LeaveTraq, and other online applications soon to be added.   • Aggie Answers - The Division of Finance has added Aggie Answers to many of our department web sites. This online customer management system features an interactive and dynamic frequently asked questions system that helps customers find answers to many of their questions on the spot.
  • Budget and Planning - The mission of The Office of Budget and Planning is to facilitate efficient and effective resource allocation, decision making and strategic planning for the University community and constituents.
  • Business Services - Provides support for purchasing, HUB Program, contract administration, logistics, international travel, insurance services, and real estate development.
