Business and Administrative Workshops

The CSBA sponsors free Workshops that cover a wide variety of topics designed to address essential learning needs of business and administrative staff across the Texas A&M University campus. Presentations for the following workshops are now available online:


Other Training Resources

  • FAMIS Training (http://finance.tamu.edu/fmo/training.asp) - The Division of Finance FAMIS trainers have developed numerous courses to help users learn and understand the FAMIS modules. These courses are customized to the needs of the individual users, and their level of security access to the FAMIS system. Some of the courses provide basic "inquiry only" skills, while others are oriented towards helping personnel who will be entering data into FAMIS. You must be an employee of Texas A&M University to attend the courses.

  • Payroll and Budget Training (http://employees.tamu.edu/managers/payroll/training/) - These courses are designed for both new and experienced business staff. Courses include introductory courses as well as hands-on coaching session.

  • Human Resources Training (http://employees.tamu.edu/managers/liaisonResources/LiaisonTraining.aspx) - Texas A&M Human Resources Department offers a wide variety of workshops designed to assist employees reach their professional development goals.

  • Computer Training (http://cis.tamu.edu/training/) - The Training Center offers expert computer training in today's popular computer software applications. Special classes for departments and individual instruction are also available.

  • Environmental Health and Safety Training (http://ehsd.tamu.edu/Training.aspx) - The Environmental Health and Safety Department regularly offers training on a variety of topics that include Fire Extinguisher, Hazard Communication, Laboratory Safety, and Radiation Safety. Several other training courses are available, please refer to the EHSD Web site.
