Best in Business 2002 Awards

Angela Vasquez, a business associate III of the Experiential Education/Career Center, and Katherine R. Jackson, a business coordinator I for the Sterling C. Evans Library, are the 2002 recipientsof "Best in Business" Awards given at the Spring Council of Senior Business Administrators (CSBA) workshop. The awards were established by CSBA to recognize and reward superior service by Texas A&M support staff members in business-related positions. The CSBA "Best in Business" Awards are presented each spring to a classified staff member and a non-classified staff member for their distinguished contributions to business operations at the university. The recipients receive a $500 check and a engraved plaque. Vasquez and Jackson were both cited for their work excellence, professionalism and exemplary demeanor with co-workers, the faculty and students. The Best in Business awards were established in 1999 by CSBA and are funded by the deans of the academic colleges.
